Overview
During the school year, children enjoy outdoor play every day after school at the school playground and Bridgeman Park. On public school breaks, we go on a different field trip each day. Field trips may include visits to water parks, beaches, barbecues, Science World, skating rinks, Crash Crawly’s, Bowen Island, pirate ship tours, and more.
During extended school closures such as summer break, winter break, spring break, and Pro-D days, the program offers full-day care with daily off-site field trips and special activities. Outings during these closures may include parks, community attractions, recreational facilities, and special event destinations, providing children with a fun, active, and engaging experience throughout the day.
Our daycare vans are used daily to transport children to and from school, as well as to and from all field trips. This is a very active, recreational program designed to keep children engaged before and after school through a wide variety of hands-on activities.
At the daycare, children have access to an open art table, a bouncy castle, air hockey, puzzles, building materials, and other creative and physical activities. To encourage active play, creativity, and social interaction, electronics are not permitted.
