Overview
Our toddler classroom is a joyful place full of movement, curiosity, and discovery. At this age, children are confidently walking, exploring their surroundings, and settling into a comfortable daily routine. Toddlers are beginning to show interest in one another, often playing side by side as they learn important social skills through observation and shared experiences. We gently introduce Montessori-inspired activities that encourage independence, build self-confidence, and spark a natural love of learning. Through play, children strengthen their growing minds and bodies while feeling safe, supported, and encouraged. We also place a strong emphasis on outdoor play, offering at least two hours outside each day — and more whenever the weather allows — so children can enjoy fresh air, movement, and fun.

Our Activities
- Learning by Exploration - Large and fine motor development, One to one teaching time
- Circle & Story Time - A mix of stories, music, movement and singing
- Sensory Time - Teachers use a wide variety of sensory materials to stimulate learning.
- Outside Play - Nature stroll and outdoor time in the play yard, for a minimum of 2 hours outside play.
- Science Activities - Teacher directed science activities.
- Art - Focus on age appropriate art projects
- Music - Children learn the fundamentals of music including instruments and singing
- Quiet activities and Nap time
- Breakfast, Lunch & 3 Snacks - We will encourage your child to drink without a sippy cup and use utensils
- Diapering & Toileting
- Yoga Class - with our yoga instructor
- Montessori Learning
Note: Diapering and toileting given as needed.
