• Experience: 5 Years

1. How long have you worked with children?

I have worked with children for about five years in Canada, including four years at Park Place. During this time, I have supported children’s learning and development through play, daily routines, and positive guidance, which are important principles in Early Childhood Education. Before coming to Canada, I also worked closely with children in Iran through my professional work in a children’s hospital. These experiences helped me understand children’s developmental needs and how to support their learning, health, and well-being.

2. What do you enjoy about working with children?

I truly enjoy teaching and spending time with children as they learn and grow. Seeing children happy, confident, and engaged brings me great joy. Many times children ask me for chalk so we can draw together, or when we go to the park they say, “We will hide, come find us,” and we play hide-and-seek. Sometimes children from different age groups come to me and ask me to play music like “Chicken Banana” so they can dance together. I see the children like my own, and I feel very happy when I can support them, help them feel included, and make sure every child feels valued and cared for.

3. What is your education and previous work experience (in and out of Canada)?

In Iran, I earned a PhD in Nutrition and Diet Therapy and worked for 15 years as a nutritionist at Mofid Children’s Hospital in Tehran, supporting the health and nutrition of children. I also worked for five years on diabetes research projects at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Later, I managed my own nutrition and diet therapy clinic. My background in health sciences and my experience working with children help me support children’s overall well-being and development
